TPL Project – Poster Design

Here’s another Typography Class Project. We were to design an event poster, so I picked the “Soundtrack of Your Summer” tour. Here’s my take on the poster. It needs a little editing but I’ll post that later.

CRS Final Project

My finaly project for Critique Structure Class was to redesign the packaging for a generic branded product. I decided to rebrand Sam’s Choice Clear American, a Flavored Sparkling Water that is sold at Wal Mart. There are a lot of flavors so I picked three and decided to go from there. The market is towards University age and young adults who are looking for something cheaper but still good. It could also target health watchers because it’s Caffine free, has Zero Calories and is Sodium Free. Anyway, so here it is~

You can see the Individual Bottles here – The front and the back. The lable was created to wrap around the bottle. The non-colored bit is transparent, and the color of the label is a gradient around the whole bottle.

Ad campaign that would go along. The Cherry one is the first one I did – the spacing between the bottle and the girls are a little tight, so on the Tropical one I spaced them out a little and took the tiny bottle out of her hand cos it looked kinda awkward. I’m still working on it, because the red one reminds me of the Coke ads…

So I also redid two elements from the CD redesign from a bit ago – I’ll be doing more… but here it is so far…

Ad Poster – TPL

So for Typography class, we were given an few images and we had to pick two and make ads out of them. This is one of them. I got the phone and changed the screen image to incorporate the ‘branch’. First I picked out a type font that I felt would go with the original image on the phone’s screen. Then I decided to knock out the image on the image on the screen and put something in to tie everything together. I wanted the branches to look like they would extend out of the screen and reach over towards the text. Anyway, I like how it turned out =)

Critique Structures Project Redesign

Critique Structures is the other class I’m in. It focuses on looking at purpose of the art we produce. Who it’s for, how we should market it, what other things to take into consideration. We chose one of our old works to redo – so here’s my redesign of the Gabriel CD as well as the CD label, the insert, some T-shirt designs, and a Poster. I kinda like it… I’m definitely gonna keep working on it and maybe throw in some other CD designs.

So – CD Cover… and Back… And on the front cover I gotta redo the hair and wings bit… got a few things to fix but yeah…

B’loons

First Typography &Page layout project. Use text as a form of art, to make an image. I got a picture that I took of some balloons and layed it out with words. In the sky it says “Blue Sky”, “Balloons” in the balloons, and “Clouds” in the clouds. Some of them are layered, or example the darker clouds, and a few of the smaler darker clouds have text that I warped – so each letter individually. I had fun on this project but since then I’ve have many other ideas so I’ll be redoing this, and doing more. Fun fun =)
